Hello Apple Scripters.

It's my 1st post here and I'm a novice learner concerning AS.

That said, could someone explain why this:

- I have an app on my Mavericks (10.9.3) box,
  call it x.app with an AS dictionary which I can open in AS Editor.

- I duplicate x.app and name it y.app, AS dictionary still right.

- now, I rename y.app to z.app (from the finder) and I've lost the dictionary;
  therefore I can't write any simple applescript.

Can't find anything related to this behavior on the Net.
Is this something known or did I mess up with something else?

My application has an 'aete' rsrc file (not a .sdef )

Thanks for any explanation,

Regards,

Thierry
