Visible messages command in Mail dictionary?

  • Subject: Visible messages command in Mail dictionary?

Hi all,
A quick question. I have a line along the lines of:
tell application "Mail"
set msgList to visible messages of message viewer 0
…
end tell

Does the "visible" messages command get only the messages shown on the screen, or all messages in the mailbox being shown? That is, if I had 100 messages and only ten were on the screen, would this get ten or a hundred?  I did a quick test, and it seems to get all of them, but I want to double check. Thanks.
