Alas, there's bad news. Because they use the old Carbon Navigation Services framework, which is 32-bit only, they won't work in Script Editor or any other modern app, or in an applet. Try one in Script Editor and you'll see:

error "Not impleted[sic] in 64bit mode." number -1708

That's with version 3.7.0 (build 398), at least.

I'm surprised they still work in Smile.
