A bug in an OS that is rumored to be less than a couple of weeks from being superseded? It can’t hurt, but at this stage you might be better off finding out if it affects Yosemite.
And if it only affects folders inside /System, I can’t see it being exactly a high priority.
I just wish we could get the selection some other way than asking the Finder. The less we have to do with it scripting-wise, the better...
