Hi Thomas.
I'm afraid I'm not clear which window you're describing.

There's no need to restart just to see what happens in Script Editor.
You can simply drag another language to the top of the preferred list in
System Preferences while Script Editor's not running, wait a couple of
seconds for luck, and then open Script Editor. All its buttons, menus,
dialogs, and default headings should appear in the new language, while
your system and anything else that was open at the time will still be in
German. When you've finished, quit Script Editor and restore "Deutsch"
as the preferred language.
