"Redirect" script for Mailsmith

Greetings,

I joined this list years ago, when I had the idea I might learn how to use Apple Script. Sadly, other things in life have taken over and I never got round to doing it --possibly also because of having little or no real "needs" for me to apply AS scripts...
But there is one thing I would really like to be able to use a
script for --namely, for automating a repetitive task with a
certain type of emails.
I am referring to the admin messages Mailman (a mailing list
manager) sends to moderated list owners whenever a new post
needs approval. With Eudora, I used to be able to simply
"redirect" those messages to have them properly formatted and
ready to send. But Mailsmith, the email desktop program I
currently use, doesn't seem to be able to do that, so I have a
lot of manual editing to do before those emails are ready for reposting.
If I wrote down the steps required to break up and reassemble
such emails, would someone on this list help me "translate" my
instructions into an Apple Script??
TIA,

marina
