That's half of it, if there were a robust* way to do this:
"2015-08-20T15:24:11” as << some version of iso date >>
that would resolve the issue.
That also tells me it would be pretty simple to make that into an
appleScript
* robust meaning accepting various versions
"2015-08-20 15:24:11”
"2015-08-20T15:24”
"15-08-20T15:24:11”
