Finder Shows No Windows when Hidden

Hey Folks,

I don't remember this being true before, but I usually am already IN the Finder when I'm scripting it.

With the Finder Hidden:

tell application "Finder"
  name of windows
end tell
--> {}

With it NOT Hidden:

tell application "Finder"
  name of windows
end tell
--> {"Saved Folders", "Downloads", "folders_nested_copy"}

This Yuk has been true of Safari for some time, but I don't recall it affecting the Finder.

Would someone mind testing on Yosemite, Mavericks, or Mountain Lion?

Thank you.

Best Regards,
Chris
