A small request wrt list best practices

Dear Listers,

I understand that these days, with the surge of mobile devices, top-posting without any trimming effort is becoming a natural gesture.

The problem is, even people with good old MUAs tend to consider that trend as a natural one and, while replying, send and re-send sigs (even sig-pictures), mailing list footers, and increasingly redundant copies of preceding messages.

As a result, the S/N ratio reaches abysmal values, at the detriment of pertinency, local storage capacities and Spotlight efficiency...

Sorry for being sooo old-fashioned,
Axel
