Agreed.
This AS list is a great community with many knowledgeable and helpful contributors. I consider has's recent return to posting here, after about four years of near silence, to be good news. The experience and knowledge he brings make it well worth enduring his strong and mostly-pessimistic opinions. His generosity is evident not only by time spent contributing here, and to other lists, but also by his prodigious offerings over time of excellent open-source software.
When busy, I may skip over some posts on this list, but I never skip those from has. They're too good to miss, in terms of both technical and entertainment value.
has, of you I must ask a question. Dunning-Kruger [1] suggest that, as one acquires knowledge, he/she moves "from cocksure ignorance to thoughtful uncertainty." You, sir, are a contradiction, because you exhibit cocksure proficiency. How on Earth does that happen? :-)
Stan C.
[1] You brought them up, so the question is fair game.
