Horses for courses, methinks. That isn't noise if one happened to be running the script to get, amongst other things, the very contents of such a bundle or bundles.
I never did spot whether OP wanted items or files (my attention has wanded during this thread), and other than for the pleasure of dusting off my old 'sed & awk' book, I'm not tempted to refine it further unless someone asks for a specific formatting of the output (in which case I'll be happy to give it a go).
