strange, I can't confirm this.
First, I haven't the "chrono" command, where does that come from? I changed it to LapTimer again, this might make a difference.
Second, the difference between Script Editor and Applet is quite significant again (100 rounds and millisecs.):
Script Editor:
Satimage/regex: 6.977
TIDs: 5.617
Axel's loop: 86.192
Davey's offset: 14.450
Plist: 192.774
Satimage/regex: 6.587
TIDs: 5.510
Axel's loop: 82.988
Davey's offset: 10.653
Plist: 114.429
Applet:
Satimage/regex: 19.242
TIDs: 5.951
Axel's loop: 76.330
Davey's offset: 40.320
Plist: 18.593
Satimage/regex: 24.926
TIDs: 5.915
Axel's loop: 77.206
Davey's offset: 20.611
Plist: 17.152
The Plist is considerably faster with the applet, and the variation with the Script Editor is large!
Probably this is related to the machine as well, I'm using a MacBookPro9,2 (2,5 GHz Intel Core i5).
Best
