Can you compile a script with:
(* A comment test with a pipe | *)
This still occurs in Yosemite.
I know I can use -- for the comment (and in this case, there is no compilation bug with the pipe), but I have a long comment to made, so (* and *) is better.
You can use -- to escape the pipe and still make multi-line comments. This will compile:
A comment test with a pipe --|
Thanks, but the suggestion from Yvan seems better for my usage. In my comment block, I have a odd number of pipes and because a bug in the AS Editor, it will not compile with a odd number of pipes.
I'm reluctant to call that a bug, just an unpleasant feature 😏
