Hey Jay,

On my system the scripts run quite quickly, but my calendars are 2 local and 6 iCloud.

However...

The created event isn't fully deleted.

Calling it by it's UID throws an error, but the event itself is still in Calendar.

Quitting and restarting don't make it go away.

Toggling the Work calendar doesn't.

Only manually deleting the event finally removes it.

Weird.
