First of all, new member here. Is there a way to search this list? I wouldn't be surprised if the answer to my question is in here somewhere but how would I find it?
I have a little experience with Applescript but am fairly handy with Automator. I want to create a script to use with Automator with the following result:
I want to pass a batch of text documents (opened in Automator with the "Open Word Documents" action) to the script which would in turn tell Microsoft Word (2008) to set the style of the text in the documents to Normal.
In Word, there is a command called "NormalStyle" which can be assigned a keyboard shortcut. But how can I get Applescript to recognize it, as well as apply it to several documents at the same time?
My goal is to standardize the text in the documents to the Normal style as I've defined it.
