Mail Send Outgoing Message "success"

  • Subject: Mail Send Outgoing Message "success"

From Mail's Dictionary:

Function Syntax: set theResult to send outgoing message

Result: boolean true if sending was successful, false if not

Apparently storing it in the outbox counts as success?!

Is there any way to tell if it was actually sent? I guess I could check the outbox but that seems pretty lame.
