I’ve tried saving it as a file and am getting the same result. Oddly, PDFPenPro’s Split.script uses this syntax. It has no problem saving.

serves this error:

The document “Untitled” could not be saved as “2016_7_8_16_1_22 FC0800-FC02610.pdf”. You don’t have permission.

File name appears to be right. theSplittingFolder is a folder that the script makes earlier in the script.

I don’t know how to fix this permissions issue. Any thoughts?

You're trying to save a file in a string, not a file. Try inserting the word "file" before the path.
