Version 2 of Dialog Toolkit is now available from <http://www.macosxautomation.com/applescript/apps/Script_Libs.html>. It's compatible with previous versions apart from one minor terminology change, but no longer requires running on the main thread.
I've also started a discussion about it here <http://forum.latenightsw.com/c/dialogtoolkit> for any feedback/suggestions.
