Hi All,
Why oh why has Apple software gone to pot lately?
I’m using four Apple Apps and they all have bugs in them that have been there since forever!
Right now, whenever I add “as string” to the end of a Statement in the Script Editor it crashes. In fact it crashes quite regularly anyway regardless of what I am doing but this problem but to crash just because I add a few characters to Script is terrible.
I0t’s not just SE either, mail is full of crashing bugs and just about every Apple App I use has some problem or another that never gets fixed.
Does anyone know how to get out of this problem when I can’t add “as string” to a script without it crashing?
Cheers Dave
Never faced this odd behavior. Are you using a tool allowing you to type some short strings replaced by longer ones? It's a kind of tool prone to the described behavior.
To get rid of the problem, you may try to use : as text which does the same thing than as string.
