Hi,

Nothing corrupted it’s just an SE bug. If I “Select All+Copy”  the Script that crashes when I add “as string”, open a plain text do the edit and paste back into the crashing script and hit compile it works.

I guess it depends how complex your scripts are and also if you are using the AppleScript-ObjC syntax?

Mail crashes at least once a day, usually when opening an attachment with other windows open, it also has lots of annoying bugs. XCode Crashes all over the place too as well as having bugs that have not been fixed since the dawn of time. I now dread an Mac OS X update because I fear that it will cause me grief. I used to update more or less as new versions came out but now I hold off for as long as possible and when I do switch it’s always into a new Hard Disk…...

In fact the only Apple App that I can think of that 100% works is Logic Pro which is an Old-School App and you can tell just from using it.
