Surely support for AppleScript and related technologies is a rounding error in Apple’s overall budget.

Given the amount of good will it generates in a small-but-influential user community, and that it is a MAJOR point of difference with Windoze, why in heavens name turn the bean counters loose to kill it?

As I’ve said before, AppleScript is probably the biggest of my few remaining reasons to stay loyal to Apple products. Who knows what it could do if they actually supported and promoted it?

I’ll say it again: an enhanced Automator is the key that could unlock Home Automation after all these years.

And let’s hear it for AppleScript in iOS!
