...there’s no trial or demo available, very little info about the developers, lots of claims but sparse screenshots of a UI that you could knock up in Xcode in 10 minutes, and a somewhat dodgy looking _javascript_ form for entering credit card details directly in the browser. No paypal options that I could discover. I’ve never heard of the e-vendor ‘gumroad’, but that’s maybe cos I don’t get out much. Looking at gumroad.com’s site didn’t answer my instinctive suspicion as to whether it was a reputable vendor or not.
It all struck me as a bit suspicious. If Scriptarian were any other product I'd think it was a fake site or scam. It's only that it would be utterly futile to try and make money out of a scam targeting no one but AppleScript users that makes me think it must be legit.
Does anyone know anything more about the product or devs? I tried emailing them to ask about a paypal option, but I haven't heard back.
