I feel exactly the same about a standard library. And what I've seen to far is that we don't have that in Scripting Additions.
Also the fact that Scripting Additions existed *before* libraries were introduced and thus serves a totally different purpose.

And dismissing Has' work just because he is pissed at Apple is missing the point too... I've just seen my radar closed as a duplicate.
