Running a service

I have a load of files which are in AIFF-C audio format, which is good for my home audio system. I need to convert them to .m4a files, so my car audio will recognise them. The service “encode selected audio files” will work just fine. Is there a way of applying this service to a file which I’ve found by running a script?

Pseudocode:

for every file in every folder of “xx”
run service “encode selected audio files” on theFile with options {iTunes Plus, destination same as source, delete original}
end for

TIA

Jeremy
