Extracting a large list of email addresses from a message

  • Subject: Extracting a large list of email addresses from a message

I was given a draft email with 1,600 addresses in the BCC field. Apple Mail doesn’t seem to be able to deal with it—lots of beachballs and it never gets sent. I’ve checked with the ISP and they don’t limit the number of addresses in an email.

I thought perhaps if I broke the list up into smaller lists of, say, 200 names, it might be more manageable. Is this liable to help? What would a script to do it look like?
