For some reason, I can’t get the following code to work under Snow Leopard.  Does anyone know why?

Thanks,
Marc

Mail 4.6
OSX 10.6.8

tell application "Mail"
activate
...
tell application "System Events"
tell process "Mail" to click menu item "Make Plain Text" of menu "Format" of menu bar 1
end tell
...
end tell
