Shane, thanks for sharing this new group.
Looks like the AppleScript sub-group is at
https://apple-dev.groups.io/g/applescript

This looks like a very modern forum with lots of great features.  I see no
reason not to signup now (and I already have), and start using this new forum
now.  Any reason not to move all of our discussion to the new forum now?

As you all know, this mailing list has had some outages in the not too distant
past, along with all the other Apple mailing lists. There's a lot of
speculation about their being closed down in favor of Apple's developer forums.
As of today, Apple's Xcode mailing list has closed.

I don't like the Apple developer forums -- they're slow and clumsy. But there
is a Plan B -- alternative lists have been set up here:
<https://apple-dev.groups.io/g/main>.

I don't see the point in splitting discussions with another list at this stage,
but I urge everyone to consider joining the new list, or at least storing the
details, for when the time comes. Better to be prepared.
