Yes, see my explanatory message cross-posted with your messages. Considering
what you are saying, my explanation of the OP's problem may be inaccurate in
that I assumed that all third-party menu extras are installed by applications
that use menu bar 2. In the OP's case, your explanation based on
exaSoundDashboard may be more helpful to him (I don't have exaSoundDashboard
installed).
