Luther,

What is mainPID referring to and where does it come from?

mainPID is the process ID of any process during which you want to play music.

In my script it is the process of burning a disk image file to a DVD.
The music starts when burning starts, then quits, 10 or 15 mins later, when the disk is ejected.

But, it can be any process you need it to be.
