Upon hindsight:
I didn't release that you were including the response to your command line...
I drug applet to terminal and got the following:
/Users/rpoland/Desktop/Close Folders.app/Contents/MacOS/applet: Mach-O
universal binary with 2 architectures: [ppc: Mach-O executable ppc] [i386:
Mach-O executable i386]
/Users/rpoland/Desktop/Close Folders.app/Contents/MacOS/applet (for

architecture i386): Mach-O executable i386
I suppose this Apple secret code, but I see no indication of 32/64 bit.
