Great question, Jean-Christophe.

I would also like to know if High Sierra has fixed an issues with Sierra.
I'm still running El Capitan, and I'm wondering if I should upgrade to Sierra,
or wait a bit an upgrade directly to High Sierra.

Any thoughts on this much appreciated.

I upgraded to Sierra the day High Sierra was released. A number of Automator
action scripts had to be recompiled. I had a few problems with Keyboard Maestro
also.

5 days later I cloned El Capitan back onto my machine. End of story.
