My impression is Outlook 2016 is less maddening than Mail. Although the
scripting dictionary may not be as extensive, at least most of it works as
advertised.
However, I’m increasingly high on Airmail. It has good AS support, and the
developer is responsive about bug fixes and needed additions. Hopefully, the
program itself will continue to add features to be more on par with Mail. Cost:
