I'm wondering if it was done by one of the scripts which I re-compiled.

I remember having one of the script supposed to insert my signature with date
and time failed when I triggered it thru FastScripts.
It inserted &nbsp at the very beginning of the string which was supposed to be
something like:
Yvan KOENIG running High Sierra 10.13.6 in French (VALLAURIS, France)
vendredi 12 avril 2019 09:30:22
The day after, the script no longer failed but issued the date twice:
Yvan KOENIG running High Sierra 10.13.6 in French (VALLAURIS, France)
vendredi 12 avril 2019 vendredi 12 avril 2019 09:30:22

It's why I asked here.
After reading your response, I entered the System preference pane and saw that
the date components were added at the beginning of the time pref. I removed
them and all returned to normal behavior.
I am sure that I didn't added the offending items by hand.
