I dunno. I made a new script in ScriptDebugger, which automatically added:

use AppleScript version "2.4" -- Yosemite (10.10) or later
use scripting additions

Then I pasted your script and made a folder of the given name. The script
worked fine, although I had to allow it to control Finder in the security dlog
that popped up.
