No. When I run your script, I see this entry for kernel in Console.app:

        Sandbox: mdfind(2291) System Policy: deny(1) file-read-data
/Users/shane/Library/Mail/V7

I suspect the files are now pretty much out of bounds except to their owner,
Mail.
