Applescript in Monterrey

So I finally was forced to upgrade from Snow Leopard to Monterrey on an M1
MacBook Pro.  I know Apple has eviscerated AppleScript and, although not
admitting it, has effectively dropped support for it.  Can someone summarize or
point me to a summary of the changes/bugs that I should expect to encounter
using AppleScript in Monterrey?
