Halting a compiled script

  • Subject: Halting a compiled script

Not sure if I asked this before, but when running a script through the script editor, there is this nice stop button that allows the user to stop a running script.

Running a compiled script in an xCode app doesn't seem to allow any UI input once the script is running (and my script takes several minutes. Does anyone have a method to work around this limitation?

TIA,
- Alex Zavatone
