Thanks Dave.

I have put each of the script/program calling sections of the trafficking program into TRY statements, set the secDelay for the repeating interval to a fixed number and deleted those lines.

It is working as I expected with my call for the fauxIdle handler in either the applicationWillFinishLaunching_ or an applicationDidFinishLaunching_ handler.

I am new to Xcode, having only started working with it upon the release of Shane's book. I really appreciate all the help and responsiveness from you and the others on this list.

If you want information from Hello Guy you need to invoke a handler in it that returns a value (or uses the default returned value of its last executed statement, which would also need to be something that returns a value.)

Thanks for this information, I have a lot to learn.
