Oops, never mind. On re-reading I saw I can call eventFetch(), and POP, it works. A big thank you.

However, I’d still like to make sure my commenting out the class is OK, please?

Yes, it seems to be a change in behavior in 10.11. You'll have to use fordEvent() or similar instead.
