About Daniel East:
Beginning at 12 years of age, and having "grown up with Apple" via
school pilot programs, home use and User Groups, Daniel East has
owned and/or operated nearly every model released by Apple and Power
Computing for more than twenty years. Today, the Macintosh User
Groups organization he founded offers presentations, trainings,
demos, events and MUG management programs to the Mac Community. These
programs are "fun-based," promoting growth, cost effective
management, teamwork and good times among re-sellers, vendors, MUG
organizations, members and member MUGs. East is a regular visitor to
many of the MUGs that are a part of the MaMUGs "iFamily."
- President of The Mid-Atlantic Macintosh User Groups Team (MaMUGs);
- Regional Director/National Board Member, The Association of Apple
Computer Users & Groups (AACUG);
- Member of The Apple Consultants Network (formerly Apple Solutions
Experts program);
- Director of The Bucks & Montgomery Counties' Macintosh Users Group
(Bux-Mont MUG);
- Apple Consultant for Size Thirteen Solutions
<
http://www.size13.net/solutions/>;
- Featured Faculty Member for User Group University/MacWorld Expo;
- List Manager for "1AppleFreeTech" online tech support for MUG members;
- Regular panelist on "Rich Levin's PC Talk" radio program on WPEN-Philadelphia
and
- a freelance writer for various trade publications and MUG newsletters.
East has made numerous presentations to computer groups, organized
and hosted events with resellers, User Groups and vendors. He has
also served on a number of discussion panels for MacWorld Expos. In
addition, he was featured on "The MUG Report with Chuck Joiner." In
his "day job," he is President of a national music promotion firm, a
producer and musician, "all aspects of each," he adds, "use Macs."
About World Without Borders:
The grassroots goal of WWB is to provide quality programming to a
carefully targeted audience. Setting itself apart from the noise and
impertinence of most online communities, WWB's emphasis is on
relevance, value-added content and a genuine exchange of information
and ideas via the Internet. That relevance begins with a mission --
to maintain a strong worldwide presence, while fostering the
excitement and enthusiasm of each client's ideals. Living up to this
mission, WWB has begun to establish itself as a leader in "real chat
for real people," bringing people together as a catalyst for
intelligent entertainment.
