Hi Rick,
Haven't spoken to you in ages. Still trying to get the ol' man to join
your group when he's done there eight months of the year.
Aaaaaaah...Behold the Power of Procrastination! :)
We still use the .pdf set-up as we still mail a lot of our newsletters,
so it's easier to make basically one file. ;( We have an older
demographic and they like the tactal(?) sense. Granted, they could print
out an HTML version but then I would have to explain over and over again
how to do Page Set Up for their particular browser. But as we haven't
come close to running out of room, it hasn't become an issue. Plus, we
decided to remove everything but the current and previous issues, which
can be downloaded as a .pdf or a .txt file. And the way things change
now, anything over two months old is pretty out of date, so we archive
those.
The only time we use a lot of room is if I upload something like
Balmer's "Monkey Boy." I mean it's a big file and he's a big guy!
Sincerely,
Frank Petrie
