Dear Kathy,
In cases where an Apple Ambassador is also a member of the Apple
Consultants
Network (formerly Apple Solutions Experts), the copy of Jaguar
included in
the August Mailbox is for the User Group, not for the ACN. ACNs will be
receiving Jaguar separately.
Have your Ambassador check the bottom left of the address label. The
Ambassador label should include "UG". The ACN label should include
"ACN".
In my case, I received two copies of the Mailbox, one with each
designation.
The user group copy contained Jaguar, and the ACN copy did not.

I emailed the Apple Ambassador. He is also a Apple Solutions Expert
and
told me they sent him a copy. We probably did get it, but I have him
checking.
I am only the President, what should I know. ;)

Yeah, I would say that your address may be wrong. Go ahead and
change it
via
sales.apple.com. If ASW can make it to my house (It's Hawaii) it
should
make
it to yours in no time. But then again USPS has been known to do some
weird
and odd things.

Kathy and Michael,
If you have not received your group's copy of the 10.2 update
(Jaguar)
in
the ASW resource mailbox yet, there *may* be a problem with your
address.
About 30-50 mailboxes come back to us after every mailing due to
"bad
addresses." So make sure your snail mail address is correct at:
http://sales.apple.com/
If it *is* correct then you should be getting yours very soon -- all
mailboxes were shipped last Friday. If your address is correct but
you
still
do not receive the mailbox, please contact ASW at
<email@hidden>
and
let them know the problem.
One telling sign will be whether or not you received the last ASW
mailbox
mailing, which was about three months ago. We send out the ASW
mailbox
now
once per quarter. If you did not get a mailing in June, then you can
deduce
that there is indeed a problem with your address, so please make
sure it
is
up to date.
Remember, too, that I am not talking about your snail mail address
listed on
the Locator database
(http://www.apple.com/usergroups/locator/admin/).
While
it is important to keep information there up to date (especially
your
group's email address and url), the folks at ASW get your Ambassador
snail
mail address from their own database which is completely different.
Again,
you must go to the ASW page (http://sales.apple.com/) to change the
address
for getting the mailings.
Thanks,
Garr
We have not received ours in NY either... ; (

Well, I'm glad you guys all got a copy of 10.2, but this 'ol
ambassador
hasn't gotten his copy yet. Perhaps the mail in NC is slow. Here's
hoping
my
copy arrives soon!
