Yan,
I have been asking myself that question for years. I simply don't
know. Our members are reluctant to participate on our list, however
they do view the list. I know this because they email me privately so
know one see their posts.
Good luck, and I will keep a watch for some tips of my own.

Hi all,
A member at the Beijing Macintosh User Group suggested the group do a
ListServ, and we did. I recently was assisted by the list manager in
customising it.
In essence, we're all set, and the stage has been set. There's just a
slight
problem, though:
Nobody else, apart from the list manager and myself, are on the list!
As you'd imagine, especially around this time of year, two people
sitting at
the ends of a potentially vast ListServ is pretty uninteresing. ;-)
I'm sure it's not a technical oddity, so it's possibly a lack of
willingness
from members themselves. (Well, it really is - and you know how much I
despise pointing fingers at members.) I've sent them a few emails
about this
before, but so far, no luck.
So I'd like to ask everyone a question: how do you get a MUG ListServ
not
just going, but also thriving?
Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your time, and seasons greetings!
