It is a misuse of the ASW mailings, if you get them. if you are using
them privately . As a MUG officer you are getting them for your
club's equipment, not your own nor can you distribute the sofware.

As most of us know Apple has always offered their updates on CD for $19.95.
We also know that it does not cost that much to burn and ship a CD. This has
been a bone of contention for quite some time with most Mac Users. I refuse
to pay that price, but, that does not have anything to do with if it is free
or not. It still does not cost to download it so it is technically free.
What our group has done in the past is buy one on the groups money and let
members use it through the library. As I am still on dial-up I usually wait
until bedtime, start my download and go to bed. My connection is set to quit
after 30 minutes of no activity. Another alternative is the ASW mailing.
Lately they have included updates on the discs. Hope this helps.
