Can all of you people just give it a break! We all are Mac users are we
not? I am not happy sometimes with Apples decisions myself. I would like to
see them do a little bit more to encourage people to join our groups. One of
those ways could be to give group members a discount. But, I also understand
the logistics involved in such an endeavor. They(Apple) are a business that
is true, but they also need to not blindside the faithful 5% with some of
their decisions. It does seem at times that since they cant seem to increase
market share they decide to milk the 5% for all its worth. Unfortunately
that is the way of the business world. I still love my Mac and I will not be
going over to the dark side because of a business decision that Apple makes.
It may be frustrating at times but that9s life. It just means I will not
upgrade as often or will find alternative solutions to the problem when they
are available. All the negativity I have seen this last week on this list is
really not very productive. There have been valid points made for both
sides. Resorting to name calling and sarcasm does not solve problems. We as
a community can only strive to come up with ideas and then present them to
Apple and hope for the best. This list is for the purpose of sharing ideas
and sharing solutions about our groups is it not? Lately that has not been
the case. I fully expect to get sarcastic feedback on this post. That in
itself is a sad commentary. Lets move on to ideas and solutions.
