My most recent reply to Randy was too harsh to have been included in
the public portion of this list, so I would like to apologize for
subjecting the list to it.
This notion of the ".mac" decision taking on dealbreaker status against
Apple, Inc. (as seems to be the implication of some) is pretty hard for
me to understand. I do not mean to suggest that Apple should not be
criticized when criticism is warranted, but I hope that any criticism
is kept in perspective against the good that Apple has done, esp. in
the area of innovative products that keep us all excited about our
Apple loyalty and our choices to use Apple products.
