........................................................................
Dear user group leaders,
There's something stirring on dozens of college campuses around the
world. Students are creating amazing communities centered around their
digital lives. In just the past 24 months, the number of new campus
groups has skyrocketed. The level of enthusiasm, growth, and passion is
incredible.
Not only do these groups provide excellent benefits to their respective
campuses, but they also enhance the future of community user groups by
developing a new generation of leaders and members.
To increase the excitement surrounding campus groups, we're pleased to
offer several announcements. Watch for more news in the near future.
Information about all of the topics below is available at the Campus
Groups section of Apple's User Group website:
http://www.apple.com/usergroups/campus/
Please feel free to forward this message to any campus group leaders
or students who might be interested. We'll look forward to working with
all
user groups as we forge a strong future for technology communities on
campuses. Please contact us with your suggestions and questions.

The members of the User Group Advisory Board are thrilled to see the
development of a youth-oriented counterpart as an element of the Apple
User Group Progam. It is exciting to see student enthusiasts embracing
Apple technologies and forming their own user groups with new and unique
projects, events and directions. The Campus Group Advisory Board will
provide a focal point and leadership for this rapidly growing segment of
the global Macintosh User Group community.

will listen to the needs of campus groups and work closely with the User
Group Advisory Board, the Regional Liaisons, and Apple.
