All good points- shareware is generally developed by people dedicated
to making apps available and economical to other users, not necessarily
an industry. These people put in more work than you can believe.. and
will never see a return to come close to the actual time it took to
develop the app. The very least we, as users, leaders and others, is
to:
1. pay for the shareware- and if you think its worth it, pay a little
more.
2. promote the shareware with your group (newsletter?) or individuals.
4. give feedback to the devoper- make his day, say 'thank you'!
Check out www.keynoteuser.com if you want to see a labor of love. I
had NO idea how long it took to develop a Keynote theme until I started
using them and seeing what is involved.
There are so many orphan shareware apps that don't get lots of
exposure, but are an absolute MUST have-
