MetroMac has been able to retain a healthy meeting giveaway program through
energetic scounging (at Macworld and other venues), fairly generous
contributions by presenters, and sensible rationing of our supplies (we meet
every two months and generally try to have 5-8 items per meeting).
While all members (and the general public) may attend meetings, giveaway
raffles are limited to Supporing Members who contribute 40 per year towards the
group's operating expenses (regular membership is free). Other meeting
attendees can participate in the giveaway raffle if they agree to become a
Supporting member on the spot.
