Hello everyone!
My user group, MacRIT meets weekly, so although we do not have door
prizes every meeting, we try to quite often. My campus rep, gets
t-shirts and software occasionally so we use that. One of our most
recent projects is starting up a book library where our members will
have a nice collection of Macintosh literature at their fingertips. If
book distributors send us doubles of the books we might raffle off a
copy or two. Another company that has been extremely helpful with us
is Iconfactory (
http://www.iconfactory.com) Two out of the three
individuals that started up Iconfactory are alumni from Rochester
Institute of Technology (my school) and are more than happy to give
away a piece of their shareware, or some of their promotional items
such as tshirts or pins.
